Last year I worked my arse off to get David Howarth elected as MP for Cambridge. Here's why.

I'd like to ask everyone who reads this to lobby their MP to actively oppose this bill. Unless you live in David's constituency, of course.

And this on the back of discussion as to whether or not to scrap next year's local elections in England. I would write an angry letter to my MP, only I think we agree on this.

We're grateful that you did - for a whole lot of reasons. But this, this is incredible. I was about to say that it was particularly amazing that the Bill applies to itself, but, really, if once you accept that they're proposing the thing at all, nothing is really surprising any more.
